The Flexibility of the FIU MBA Program
Florida resident Gilbert Rincon, an experienced administrator, CEO, and government contract manager, received his education from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. Gilbert Rincon earned both his undergraduate degree in management and marketing and his MBA at FIU.
The FIU MBA program offers a range of options, depending on how advanced students are in their careers and what fields they work in. For learners who prefer a traditional face-to-face program, it offers a two-year flex program as well as 16-month downtown and weekend programs. It also offers an accelerated online program, which covers the same curriculum and is accredited by the same organizations.
For students whose executive careers have already begun in earnest, FIU offers its executive, healthcare, and international MBA programs. The executive program, which requires eight years of experience prior to entry, lasts 22 months, is delivered as a hybrid with both online and face-to-face classes, and provides courses designed to improve leadership, strategy development, and creativity. The healthcare MBA program, offered exclusively through the downtown Miami and Modesto A. Maidique campus, focuses on the unique roles of executives in the healthcare industry. The international MBA, the shortest program available at just 12 months, includes weekday classes as well as internship and study-abroad opportunities.
